Comisario Hjuler & Madre Osa, best known by their German names Kommissar Hjuler und Mama Baer, are a German activist duo, whose output is of a certain dadaistic humor, and it could be defined as experimental sound poetry with a strong performative character, action art, no music, etc.
Madre Osa (Mama Baer) on Side A presents us a sound piece from 2007, a dadaistic text-collage with field recordings describing the way to enter her house and find her refrigerator. On Side B, Comisario Hjuler (Kommissar Hjuler) presents us 13 pieces entitled Cy.4mm. They are pieces for piano and voice, spoken texts from Danish pornographic magazines. It is one oh his earliest works and it was recorded while his wife, Mama Baer, was pregnant with their first son Cy. At the time he made the recordings, Cy was a 4 millimeters big embryo.
